Summary

During this webcast, Michelle Pieczura, a fourth grade teacher at Franklin Elementary School, and Julie Deffenbaugh, a Maury County Public Schools instructional coach, will discuss and demonstrate strategies and processes related to writing in the content areas and writing across the curriculum in general. In addition to videos featuring the two teachers implementing activities in their respective classrooms, the webcast will also feature Ms. Deffenbaugh and Ms. Pieczura, along with Middle Tennessee Writing Project directors Dr. Ron Kates and Dr. Ellen Donovan, engaging a studio audience of current and pre-service educators in techniques related to writing in the content area processes.
