This series finale shows students reading aloud using their personal summaries about the story told in class. A poem "I am a Villager" tells about the life in India with beautiful imagery; and what language class is complete without a little math?

The journey continues in this episode as students continue learning the Tamil language with more interaction and games. Repetition reinforces the introductory lessons and new games of speed challenge the students to keep up on their way towards mastering the language.

This lesson has a focus on the area where Tamil is used and students ask questions about the cultures of India and Sri Lanka.

This episode showcases moving from listening to instruction to speaking the language as students have to pair their counting vocabulary with a multiple choice game.

This episode introduces a new matching game challenging students to test these skills in memory and numeric vocabulary. They also learn how to take possession of objects with new phrases.

The games continue with the return of the matching game and an easier game of speed and skill. Student learn how to indicate location as they work together to migrate from one location to the next in this next stage.

The language games continue as students pantomime secret phrases. Nathana covers new words and students gain a deeper understanding of the language syntax.

After a refresher of applying bonds between words, phrases and movements - the students gather in a new game of speed.

Cortney Crews and Jordan Sims are both distinguished educators within Metro Nashville Public Schools. Cortney is a Literacy Specialist for the Schools of Innovation and teaches at Jere Baxter Middle School and Jordan is an Instructional Specialist in secondary education and teaches at Hunters Lane High School. In this lesson, they give practical classroom advise on inspiring your class early in the school year to be excited about reading and writing and how to incorporate state standards in your lessons.

Presented by Erin Phillips and Heather Knox of Hobgood Elemetary School in the Murfreesboro City School district, this workshop introduces participants to the Content Area Cycle method of teaching, with a special emphasis on ELL students. After explaining the cycle, the presenters use a unit on plants to demonstrate the cycle with the participants playing the role of students.
